Congratulations Rocky, for being the 2nd American to pass the Q Graders test on the first try. Q Grader certification means passing a series of sensory coffee grading exams and out of the 395 Q Graders in the world, 11 are in Los Angeles including our coffee roaster source, Rocky.Posted by Administrator

The South American Jacu birdPosted by Administrator

The body is heavy and acidity low making a super smooth coffee with molasses and brown bread tones. There is a slight black pepper note in the finish.
Now about the novelty:
This funky south American creature has a select appetite for the ripest shade grown coffee cherries.
After digestion the pits (coffee beans still covered in parchment) are collected out of it droppings (seriously) cleaned, roasted, brewed and drunk (still serious).
Unlike the infamous civet cat, it is not force fed because it does not impart some "special" flavor on the low grade robusta beans it eats.
The point is having a really great quality Brazilian coffee chosen by nature's coffee selector.
It will be available this week only or until sold out! SOLD OUT
