Hi Ray, Your cafe was by far the best in LA as far as I'm concerned. So difficult is it to find decent coffee in LA that I have resorted to purchasing a decent home espresso machine (Le'Lit PL041) to do some brewing at home. My question for you is did you do your own roasting or did you purchase coffee from a vendor? Is this espresso available for purchase despite your shop not being currently open?
Thanks in advance and I eagerly anticipate your reopening.

Thanks! I heard of that machine you got. From Whole Latte Love? For beans, I did some of my own roasts for lots that my roaster didn't carry. I used to buy from Rocky Roasters in Canoga Park. Recently this year they sold to Supreme Bean, so I don't know how that affects the facility. I'd guess its not the same with out Rocky there.

OH wait! for espresso I use Illy.
I used Rocky Roasters and Sweet Marias for the siphons.
You can get good beans from Barefoot, Intelligensia, Venice Grind (Stumptown), Cielo (49th Parallel)
