Cafe Balcony

Each month a new visual art exhibit is installed at Café Balcony. All our artists are local talent, and we have featured every kind of art from modern and abstract paintings to photography, collage, and small-scale installations. Featured subjects have included pop culture, emotions, travel, and foreign culture. If you're looking for something new for your apartment or house, many of our artists do also offer their works for sale.

Well Just a little about this exhibition.

Every picture was taken on my trusty little Casio Ex Z-850 8.1 mega pixels. All pictures are full frame prints on 5x7 Fuji paper printed at SD Color Lab on Pico blvd.

No adjustments have been made to the images, they are straight from camera. Some are rated at 50 ISO most are rated at 200 ISO to reduce noise level at low light conditions, as you can see most pictures are taken without flash.

Enough of the technical stuff!

The main point of doing this is to have fun, connect with my heart and show what can be done with a little pocket camera, when I am not shooting on the line of a Hollywood Red carpet Premiere event. What you see is a reflection of environment family and friends. My hope the images just touch you in some way to connect with what is around you.

To make you laugh or brighten your day in some way or even inspire you to pick up your camera, have fun, share your life and the beauty in it.

Enjoy!

I would like to thank Doug and Gary for pushing me to do this and Anthony and Gary’s help in hanging. I would also like to thank Ray Sato for giving people the opportunity to use this space and all his kind staff, also, a special thanks to Howard for staying up way past his bed time!
