Cafe Balcony

Each month a new visual art exhibit is installed at Café Balcony. All our artists are local talent, and we have featured every kind of art from modern and abstract paintings to photography, collage, and small-scale installations. Featured subjects have included pop culture, emotions, travel, and foreign culture. If you're looking for something new for your apartment or house, many of our artists do also offer their works for sale.

Takeo Ueda

Takeo Ueda began his creative quest through art in 1993. Inspired by the idea of the "last kiosk", which stands alone in apocaplyptic land, he shares his vision through miixed media, such as rust, sand and found object. his art awakes forgotten prayer, eroded in time and transient moment.

His latest style is a series of clipboard. This usual item reveals their temporality but 'clip' flow of time.

His art collectors are in osaka, tokyo, and in los angeles
